Myra Canyon
If you visit Kelowna in the spring, summer, or fall, you should be sure to get out of town and take the family hiking on the Myra Canyon section of the Kettle Valley Railway Trail. Depending on your pace, the exploring the canyon can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, but if you’re searching for a special shot of the canyon’s beauty, you might want to take your time rather than rushing through it!
Antlers Beach Regional Park & Hardy Falls
The entire Okanagan Valley is dotted with several regional parks, and it is unlikely that you’ll be able to explore all of them during a weeklong stay. Knox Mountain
Knox Mountain Park consists of 580 acres and it is located just to the north of Kelowna, next to Okanagan Lake. The park contains mostly Ponderosa Pine and wide-ranging grasslands. If you drive through Knox Mountain Park, you’ll find several amazing vistas to stop, appreciate, and capture. From the various different lookouts, you’ll find the lights of downtown Kelowna, scenic views of Okanagan Lake, and a few epic shots of the surrounding areas. Visitors should be aware that the park is open to vehicle traffic from March 15th through November 15th, depending on weather conditions.
