So our FIRST Macro Photography course is quickly approaching in Calgary, (on July 9th!). This course is being run by Neil & Mary, our incredible owners and Instructors from Kelowna! The course is a regular schedule at our Kelowna location and it’s been a raving success. Here are 5 reasons why you NEED to take this course:

1.We’re really good at Macro Photography. Between Neil & Mary, and your local instructors James & Jana, we have some of the most spectacular Macro photos out there.

2. Macro Photography is like seeing a whole new world. This world is often invisible to the naked eye and by learning the art of Macro Photography we are exploring a new art form and expanding your photographic repertoire to something that honestly, not everyone can do

3. We can teach you how to take crisp and clear Macro Photos. This is a skill. As many of you know, simply taking a close up photo of a flower doesn’t mean that it’s going to look very good. Macro photography is all about creating images that are perfectly in focus – and on exactly the right thing. We can show you how!

4. It’s FUN! Like Night Photography, not everyone can do this. This doesn’t mean that it’s particularly hard, but that it’s a set of skills you need to learn. Once you’ve learnt them you’ll be quickly on your way to impressing your friends and family with your new found awesome-ness.

5.  It can be done anywhere. Canada, USA, Europe, South-East Asia, hiking, biking, sunny day, cloudy day, rainy day – EVEN BETTER! Macro Photography is one of the best forms of photography for it’s go-anywhere versatility. No matter where you are or what conditions you find yourself in, Macro Photography is something you can ALWAYS do.
