Purposely using a slow shutter speed while hand holding your camera can create abstract and dreamy images and its fun! I like starting with a shutter speed of 1/8 of a second to make these types of photographs. The speed of your subject may require some adjustment to your shutter speed. The following photo was taken in a small town in Sicily, late evening, as people were heading home after a long day, photographers included!
