Here at Learn Photography Canada we obsess over choosing amazing locations to hold our Edmonton photography classes. Learning photography is a hands-on skill and because of this we believe you should learn through practice, rather than sitting in a classroom. We want to amaze you with how good our photography classes really are and the location is part and partial to achieving this. You see through the years we have found that people learn best when they are inspired by their surroundings (and instructors!). That’s why we’ve chosen what we think are the best locations for you to take photography classes in Edmonton.

Is there a more picturesque building in Edmonton than the Alberta Legislature building? Possibly not, and on a warm sunny day this is quite possibly the closest thing to heaven. All our Digital I Beginner Photography Classes take place at this inspiring location where there is no shortage of items to photograph. Amazing architecture, beautiful gardens and lovely sculptures are just some of what you will photograph throughout the day. Sign up later in the summer and the water fountains are an incredible tool to help with your photography.
Learn Photography Canada is also proud to use the Alberta Legislature as the perfect backdrop to our night photography class. Lit up uniquely depending on the season, the Alberta Legislature never fails to impress, day or night!
Our favourite place to hide when the weather turns sour, the Alberta Aviation Museum is an amazing photographic wonder that will inspire you! Filled with classic biplanes to modern fighter jets, there is no shortage of photographic potential.
We hold our winter Digital I Beginner Classes and our Digital II Classes at this location. Join us today and have your photography journey take off in the right direction.
Fort Edmonton is the site of many a class for Learn Photography Canada. Always a treat, the Fort offers so many exciting opportunities for photography inside century old structures. If you’re lucky enough you will even have the opportunity to photograph some livestock that come out of their hiding places for a pet. History is rampant in this fantastic location. Learn Photography Canada uses Fort Edmonton occasionally for our indoor winter classes.
